after reading sarah's post, something similar happened to me so i thought i would share.
I was purchasing a root beer at a deli(on) near school. the man was handing me my change and as he did so a quarter slipped between my fingers and started rolling on its side on the counter towards him. I went to slam it against the counter so it wouldnt fall on the floor. he must have been thinking similarly because before i realized what had happened his hand was placed delicately upon mine and mine on top of the quarter. Upon realizing this I looked up and our our stares connected and he smiled and winked at me. all i could do was sort of let out a laugh and grab my quarter and leave. seriously, we probably held hands for 15 seconds real time.
